Tickets Now on Sale for Pentillie Fetival of Speed

EarlyBird Advance ticket saving available until the 31st May

Tickets have gone on sale for the South West's first ever Festival of Speed, which will take place within the grounds of Cornwall Tourism Gold Award-winning Pentillie Castle & Estate, St Mellion, Cornwall on the 25th and 26th August.

Pre-booked tickets cost £10 (per day) for adults and £5 (per day) for children (under 5’s free) when booked via the Pentillie Festival of Speed website: www.pentilliefestivalofspeed.co.uk and until the 31st May are available at the reduced price of £8 for adults and £4 for children.

Grampound Carnival

Fete held in Grampound Recreation Ground, Grampound starting at 2 p.m. on Saturday 1 September 2012. Attractions for all ages including Battlefield Live Kernow (laser game), bouncy castle, children's rides, face painting, entertainer, duck race, hog roast, real ale tent, owls, rabbits, pygmy goats, craft stalls, refreshments and much more.
Carnival procession starts at 6 p.m. when the main road is closed to allow the floats and walking entries up and down Fore Street.

Portreath Harbour Fun Day

Tumblydown Museum visit and picnic

WWII Re-enactment South West will be attending Tumbly Down Museum with some of their vehicles and kit.

ALL VISITORS,INDIVIDUAL AND PARTY, ARE MOST WELCOME, but as Tumblydown is a working farm this should be BY APPOINTMENT ONLY PLEASE.

9th Annual Lostwithiel Charity Beer Festival

Saturday 17 March 2012 11.00 a.m. to 11.00 p.m. at Lostwithiel Community Centre.

Entry £5 before 5.00 p.m. £6 thereafter.

Wide range of beers all at £2.50 per pint. Wine and soft drinks also available.

Live six nations rugby showing all three final day matches on a big screen in the afternoon, culminating in England v. Ireland at 5.00 p.m.

Live music in the evening from Cornwall-based band, Cold Feet.

Organised by The Rotary Club of Lostwithiel with all profits going to Rotary charities.

St Germans May Tree Fair

Two days of celebrations for the revival of a traditional festival in the Village of St. Germans.

The Saturday night will see a fantastic line up of music, including folk-punk band Black Friday, in the Eliot Arms and the election of a Mock Mayor in preperation for Sunday's procession.

Sunday, from twelve, a procession of musicians and dancers will take to the streets. There will be stalls, food and drink and live music all afternoon and evening outside the Eliot Arms.

The Looe Festival of Food and Drink 2012

Located in a custom designed marquee on the Millpool car park on the banks of the Looe River, the Looe Festival of Food and Drink will feature leading Cornish food and drink producers and suppliers plus chefs cookery demonstrations, fish and seafood prepping demonstrations and offer visitors a chance to sample some of the excellent food on offer there.

Easy access with excellent public transport links as well as ample car parking is readily available.

The event is free to the public and all are welcome.
