Royal Celebration
St Mary's Singers is the acclaimed Truro Cathedral Voluntary Choir. Together with the St Mary's Orchestra, conductor Luke Bond, plus soloist Lewis Anderson (clarinet) they give a concert of rousing music from royal occasions and with a patriotic flavour.

Electric Beach Festival
This Summer, on Saturday the 28th July, the golden sands of Watergate Bay, near Newquay, will be transformed into the first ever Electric Beach -
Iconic hip hop trio, De La Soul, from Long Island, New York have been confirmed to headline this years Electric Beach.
Known for their massive influence in the Jazz Rap scene the world over, the band’s debut album- “3 Feet High and Rising” is considered a hip hop master piece and was voted album of the year by NME - a title better known for its taste in guitar-based music.

Callington Singers Summer Concert
The Callington Singers are giving their annual Summer concert at Gunnislake Church.
The programme will include works by Mozart, Samuel Coleridge Taylor, Thomas Weelkes and Patrick Doyle amongst many others.
The concert begins at 7:30 pm, admission is £7.50, free to under 16s. Tickets are available on the door and refreshements will be available.
Verdi Requiem
Verdi's famous choral masterpice, full of strong melodies and exciting vocal and orchestral moments. Truro Choral Society, Cornwall's largest choir, will be accompanied by Truro Symphony Orchestra; and the performance will be directed by Martin Palmer. The soloists are all young prizewinners.
If recent Truro Choral society performances are anything to go by, the cathedral will be full so book tickets now!

Penzance Music & Arts Festival
A week of concerts and exhibitions celebrating the installation of a magnificent new East Window, recently featured in Cornwall Today and well worth seeing. The Festival, in collaboration with Humphry Davy Music College, starts with an extravagant buffet lunch after Mass on Sunday 13th May and ends with cheese and wine after Choral Evening Prayer on 20th May.
The church and displays of artwork, flowers and the stained glass exhibition will open daily from 10.30am to 12.30
All concerts start at 7.30pm.
