This year’s St Ives Community Play is Shakespeare’s the Merry Wives of Windsor, and we are looking for fairies and little devils for the closing scene.

In preparation, we are hosting a ‘Make & Create’ workshop and inviting children aged 5 to 11 to participate. The afternoon will be run by local artists, and children will leave with an item of costume that they have created in the workshop – a scary little devil mask or a pair of fairy wings.

THE CAT IN THE HAT AND FRIENDS COME TO ST IVES

This Easter holidays, Kidz R Us presents madcap musical extravaganza, Seussical the Musical Jr!

The Cat in the Hat, Horton the elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, Mayzie La Bird, The Grinch and the Whos of Whoville… They’ll all be part of this crazy, colourful musical based on the classic, quirky tales of Dr Seuss.

Rough Coast Community Arts is calling on creative folk from St Ives and surrounding areas to join them at their next Wine & Design night.

The night is part of the preparation for this year’s Community Play, the Merry Wives of Windsor. It's a great chance to meet other people and let the creative juices flow, over a tipple or two. We are looking for input into wardrobe, props and set design. No previous experience in theatre design is required – all volunteers are welcome!

The Mariners Gallery St Ives will be hosting an Exhibition of work by The Plymouth Society of Artists for 1 month. A wide selection of unframed originals, prints and cards will also be available during the exhibition.

The Society of Artists Invite all artists to submit work for this Spring Open Exhibition and the selected pieces will be on view in the Mariners Gallery for 1month.Entrance is free and there is also a wide selection of unframed work and cards to browse through

From the 2nd - 10th June 2012 Cornwall’s rich cultural scene becomes accessible through visual artists, designer makers, crafts persons and other creative outlets. Throwing open the doors to their studios artists throughout the county allow a rare opportunity to soak up the atmosphere of their space and methods, allowing you to interact with them and their work.
