Everyone is invited to Market Square, St Columb Major on Saturday 3rd March 2012 for the "throw-up" of the Silver Ball at 4.30pm to start the Traditional Hurling contest between the local townsfolk. A great deal of energy will be exerted by two teams trying to carry the elusive Silver Ball over the boundary line to claim victory. Event: Shrove Tuesday Hurling
